The firmware updater made it easy to update our Zebra LP2844, GK420d and GC420d printers. It auto-detected our printers by USB, and after we selected the firmware file, it downloaded the firmware directly to the printer and it did the rest. The process was completed in 3 minutes. The printers perform faster now with EMF labels. To download the firmware files, we had to register on the Zebra website first and then we could update the firmware.

We simply installed the program, selected auto-detect, pointed it to the new firmware file and it did the rest. This program allowed us to update the firmware of printers we've had since 2001. They are now running better with EMF label printing.
